Art Market Survey

Hello participants, my name is Adam Green. For those that are new, I would like to introduce you to Art Market Survey. I am developing and organizing a collection of surveys for art auctions which you and others may utilize to help predict the future short term direction of art prices.

This is the ninth edition of Art Market Survey, with this specific version including five artworks: two featured in Sotheby's Contemporary Sale on October 16th and three included in Christie's Post-War and Contemporary Sale also occurring on October 16th. Information provided to you consists of images of all 5 artworks, final sales estimates, sizes, mediums, condition reports, and provenances. As a participant, you are asked to predict the final hammer price (excluding buyer's premium) achieved at auction for the 5 artworks. I also ask you to rate each art object, on a scale of #1 through #10, on the quality of the artwork within the artists' oeuvre, with #10 being the artist's most superior work.

Upon completion of the survey, I will produce a pre-sale report noting all participant estimates. Rest assured that all your personal information will remain completely anonymous at all times. At the end of all auctions, I will analyze the results and provide all participants with a final report, which will include a personal commentary on the results.
